Charles S. Tigerman and the firm are “of counsel” to the firm of G&B Law, LLP (formerly Greenberg & Bass LLP). The Greenberg firm is a ten lawyer firm which practices in the areas of complex business transactions and insolvency- related matters. Litigation matters of Mindlin and Tigerman clients are referred to Greenberg & Bass, when appropriate. Estate planning needs of Greenberg & Bass clients are referred to this firm, as are projects involving intellectual property issues. The relationship between the two firms provides additional depth of resources for the clients of both firms.
Charles S. Tigerman has gained a reputation and experience in the arbitration and mediation of computer, software, and other technology based disputes. A summary of selected arbitration cases is on the web site. Arbitration matters have ranged in size from $50,000 to $14,000,000 in dispute. Dozens of cases have been heard since 1984, some as sole arbitrator or mediator, and others as a member of a three-person panel. In recent years, the types of cases have expanded to include multi-media partnering disputes, video game production disputes, and other new media subjects.
